The 6-Week Running Program

Ever wanted to follow a tailored exercise program to improve your running capacity?

The 6-Week Running Program, hosted by The Track in conjunction with ACU Sport, empowers ACU students and staff to explore different styles of running in a safe and guided environment. This program will provide you with the information, strategy and motivation to complete each weekly challenge, with the incentive of various prizes to assist in your long-term running development.

Taking place in semester 1 each year , students and staff who register for the running program will be provided with a beginner, intermediate or advanced program drawn up by an accredited coach.

All activities completed must be uploaded via Strava under the ACU Sport group. Participants will go in the draw to win a major prize and weekly prize throughout the program.

Details for the upcoming 2023 program will be announced and confirmed shortly.

 

Steptember

The Track’s Steptember Challenge will see students strive to lift their average daily steps to develop healthier habits when it comes to daily exercise in an effort to raise funds and awareness for children and adults who live with cerebral palsy.

Taking place in Semester 2, participants will have the full month to step their way to 10,000 steps each day, all you need is a smartphone or watch!
